Introduction

We are delighted to be continuing our support of the 2* team, both for team dressage displays at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May and this summer's European Championships in Hungary.

European CIC** Team Championships

The Championships were originally scheduled to be held this year in Holland, but the team will now have a long journey to Nagykanizsa in south-west Hungary, in the first week of July, 2009. The team competition includes a unique team dressage test, where the whole team of six rides the test together, in addition to the usual three eventing phases.

Horse and rider combinations selected for the team must be qualified for CIC** but must not have completed a CCI*** in two years preceding the championships or completed a 4* at any time. Each nation competing is allowed to take up to eight horse and rider combinations, from which six are selected for the team and two run as individuals.
